KoreaTextile (Koreatextile.org) is an information system for textile manufacturing companies, which the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), the Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI), and the Korean textile industry are promoting as a part of the Korea-United States Free Trade Agreement (KORUS FTA).
This information system serves as a comprehensive support system for trade negotiations to encourage domestic textile and apparel production.

Since Korea is a FTA hub country and buttresses various regional trade agreements, KoreaTextile endeavors to effectively provide dependable information on domestic exporters and foreign buyers, thereby facilitating the needs of vendors.

KoreaTextile offers a highly reliable database through which it provides approximately 4,000 confirmed domestic corporations with active production and processing facilities. The user can easily search for active manufacturers and enterprises (search results will include "Site-Verified" notifications). In addition, users can search Korea's outstanding converting and distributing companies that manage orders without processing facilities.

KoreaTextile presents information on companies that can acquire a FTA Certificate of Origin (ownership of certification of export qualifications, verification of origin, possible issuance of certification of domestic manufacture, qualified company with origin management) to domestic and international buyers and in doing so,
functions as a convenient sourcing arena for FTA. Furthermore, establishment of trade negotiations is made possible through available information on products with the appropriate tariff classification code numbers (HS code).

Additionally, search results not only include the information on related products and companies, but also contain information pertaining to related industry, market trends, and communicational information. KoreaTextile is designed and configured to provide multifunctional services and information on production, management,
and extension. These implementations allow various stakeholders, such as professional trading companies, distribution and production companies, small enterprises, research institutions, and students to participate.
